Who Am I?

I'm Mack! From a young age I've loved art and couldn't see myself expressing who I am and my values in any other way than through art. I have a passion for character design as well as graphics and animation. When I began going to school for graphic design in 2018, like many others in my class, I didn't truly understand how broad the spectrum really was. My journey began by taking classes at Post University towards a degree in marketing. I earned an associates in marketing, something that would help me better understand why good graphic design matters and how the art I make will work with others of my team. In 2020, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, I transferred to Post from Southern Connecticut State University to begin my classes in graphic design. Throughout my two years, I got to dabble in various aspects of graphic design and explore various new programs. I got to make my first logo, make a multitude of editorials, animations, and even got to make a prototype app with UX and UI classes. By the end of the 2022 spring semester, I walked across the stage with a bachelors in graphic design. I continue to create art in various medias and hope to inspire young artists by allowing them to see my own journey through graphic design.
